Dale Eldridge Kaye, President and CEO of the Innovation Tri-Valley Leadership Group, works with public partners to brand the Tri-Valley, help businesses move in and scale up and create a career ready workforce. The California Assembly recently named her Women of the Year for that effort. She created with the US Chamber an Innovation Forum, an annual event to showcase the multitude of innovators in the East Bay. This event became the seed for Innovation Tri-Valley, which has successfully fostered a more cohesive approach to business innovation across the Tri-Valley.
Kennan Kellaris Salinero is the principal founder of ReImagine Science (formerly Yámana Science and Technology), a non-profit based out of Washington DC. She has held positions in numerous institutions within the basic sciences, including as a faculty member at Georgetown University (Dept of Chemistry), Celera Genomics (during the human genome project), at UCBerkeley, and at the Joint Genome Institute, as well as Los Alamos National Laboratories in New Mexico and Livermore National Labs in California.
Stacy Drury holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Oregon Institute of Technology. She started her career with Physics International and had the opportunity to work with world-renowned scientists in the Pulsed Power industry for many years in mechanical design and analysis. She is a business manager with extensive experience in program management and strategic planning with a keen focus on customer & community service.
Rosalind Hamar, served as Head of Valley Montessori School in Livermore from 2011-2015 and previously served as Head School at Marin Horizon School in Mill Valley, CA from 1995-2011. She has an MA in International Affairs & Economics from Johns Hopkins University-School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and an MAT in Education and BA in History from Lewis & Clark College (Portland, OR). She has been a lead organizer for TEDxLivermore since 2012 and has also been on the Board of Innovation Tri-Valley.
Brandon currently serves as the Executive Director of i-GATE Innovation Hub. i-GATE is a regional incubator and co-working space that specializes in helping startups, and tech developers get organized, connect, and grow. Brandon manages services, programs, and events to support the startup community and foster interaction between regional entrepreneurs, investors, and i-GATE’s laboratory partners.
Brandon received his bachelor’s in Government from CSU Sacramento, and his background includes broad experience in innovation-based economic development, startup accelerators and incubators, local government innovation programs and policy, and strategic development.
Yolanda Fintschenko founded Common SciSense, a technical marketing company focused on helping her clients with technology/science-based products increase their market share by creating strategies and messages that resonate with their customers. Her previous marketing experience includes LabSmith and Thermo Fisher Scientific. Her work as a scientist brought her to Sandia National Labs 17 years ago where she worked developing microfluidics devices for biodetection for biodefense. Yolanda has Ph.D. in bioanalytical chemistry from KU and a B.S in Chemistry from Trinity University.
I began coaching speakers in mid-2013 for TEDx and platform events. My broader background is in executive and leadership coaching, and organizational turnaround and transformative change (with over 50 organizations and several thousand individuals). I’ve had the privilege of coaching TED Fellows and over 40 TEDx, platform and event speakers in the U.S., India and Africa, and am honored to once again to have the opportunity to work with the TEDxLivermore speakers and team!
I am honored to join the team this year as a speech coach for TEDxLivermore. I have an MFA in Acting from UC Irvine and enjoy helping others bring their dynamic stories to life. I am the CEO of Activate to Captivate, where I teach communication techniques from an actor’s point of view. I teach programs at universities, and am the former speech coach for TEDxUCIrvine and leads communication workshops at various companies.
